Hatter’s Street: A food Journey that brings the customer through a culinary experience like no other, through the showcase of “The Hatters” passion, creativity and spontaneity. Derived from an inspired vision of the Mad Hatter, norms are not what you will see within the culinary journey itself. The experience derives from the relationship between each of the Hatters life story, the food served, and the customer. Our desire is for each customer to leave Hatter Street with a distinct flavour, body of taste which would be ingrained in their memory. Thus, the journey begins when each person enters the cafe, customers should be prepared for an assault on a myriad of senses with the culmination of artisanal desserts.
Hatter Street’s culinary movement is characterized by comfort food influenced by Asia culinary traditions versus the implementation of avant-garde techniques.
Our Kitchen Alchemist
Yvette, a teacher turned chef owner of Hatter Street Bakehouse & Café explored her professional development in the culinary arts through a degree majoring in professional studies in culinary arts management. She was trained in Bo Innovation, a 3-michelin starred restaurant known for their extreme Chinese cuisine in Hong Kong. Inspired by her chefs who mentored her, she quickly learned that her zeal centered on good service standards and novel cuisine.Yvette help set up a desserts café which was opened in 2013 and she was featured Celebrity Chef of the Month of September 2013 on StreetFoodWarmsYourHeart Singapore. Presently at Hatter Street, Yvette takes her learning experiences from Hong Kong and incorporates them into her new culinary venture. The cuisine of Hatter Street represents a pushing of boundaries of what are accepted as the norm and is based upon her whimsical journey in life from around the world.
